It's taken 30+ years but I'm finally understanding that my childhood abuse, wasn't my fault. Everyone can tell you that but until you're mentally ready, it doesn't matter. You have to be the one to forgive yourself & let the pain & fear go. I didn't do anything wrong!

Every now & then l forget the knowledge l hold, the story l've lived, everything l've been through has given me information & a perspective l would never have had unless l went through it myself. Never doubt your own power & strength, no one else has what you do. Celebrate it!

So an amazing thing happened last night, the amazing band VOILÀ who l've been trying to get tickets to see in the UK found me a spare ticket for tonight in Manchester, so guess where l'm heading. I cannot tell you how happy l am to see them play live! Thanks Voila team! 💙

I can't explain how amazing last night was, truly incredible! I can't thank VOILÀ for being so fantastic on and off stage! Huge shout out to the tour manager too, what a legend!

So it's that time again. I got the call on Wednesday while on the train to Manchester, talk about timing but l wasn't gonna let it spoil my fun. I'm in on Tuesday, hopefully they get it all in one go & that'll be the end of it, trying to think positively here! Love you all 💙

5am start tomorrow to be at the hospital on time. My body is not going to be happy especially without coffee but then a nice anaesthetic fueled nap should help me out. Wish me luck my beautiful friends, love you all 💙

First thanks so much for your kind messages. It means so much to me. I'm so lucky. The op went well & although the pain is awful, I'm doing ok & lastly to show l'll never forget who l am, just look at the pretty compression socks we get at this hospital 😲 😂

Hiya, just to let you know I'm home, tired & sore but ok. 6-8 weeks recovery & my results will take about 4 weeks but there is a backlog so it might take longer. I do have some body adjustments to accept though which won't be easy but l will get there. Take care, luv you all 💙

Today is not going well, l have an infection despite already being on antibiotics before l left hospital & following all their instructions, So this is today's meds. Antibiotics, anti sickness, painkillers & 2 x dressings. I really will be able to start my own pharmacy soon!

My lovely view today as l wait in the Heartlands gyne unit to have my infection & now open wound sorted out! Thankfully not many ppl in the queue as this is surprisingly painful but l know they'll look after me. Look after yourselves everyone! Love you all 💙

Today's brunch before dragging myself back to the doctors again after sleeping funny & ripping open my post-op scar even more than the infection l've got managed to do! I'm starting to struggle now. I need it to heal now so l can just worry about the results. Love you all 💙

Sorry l've been away, on my way home from the hospital, l had a fall, cut my forehead, 2 black eyes, bashed up a knee & twisted my ankle. I'm doing better now but it'll take a while to heal. Lesson learned - never fight with concrete, it'll always win! 😂 Please take care 🫂

Hi all, just wanted to drop in and say l'm doing better now. Still got a way to go according to the Dr this morning but l am healing and no more infection. It got its backside kicked to the kerb, finally. Thank you so much for your kind wishes and hugs. Love you all x
