A month ago I watched rescue teams in Nurdagı work. Today the living have been rescued and the dead bodies removed, but the apocalyptic aura of death remains. Parts of the earthquake zone feel like a vortex that has sucked life out of the fabric of existence. Peace and healing.

These two girls who survived an earthquake and are camped out in the cold street for days felt sorry for us! They brought us tea instead of drinking it themselves. Generosity is not always determined by how much you have in your pocket, but how much you have in your heart.
