Bitcoin fees are rising, a transaction that costs 10$ in fees on the Bitcoin network would cost less than 1 cent on the Dash network. And transactions on the Dash network are 100% confirmed and final within a second or so, find another PoW blockchain that has that.

Dash community discord has had a moderator that seems to have his account compromised. An apparent scam is currently being promoted. The perp decided to strike at 2am ET, knowing the people who can resolve the situation are asleep. Other mods are trying to resolve the situation.

As discussed on our previous dev update, the latest Platform Evolution version was released last week on time. This is the first version that should be resilient against attacks and we invite community members to test it. A guide will be coming out this week on how to do so.

Dash Evolution Platform chain starts tomorrow if we get enough Evonode operators to update. Right now we have close to 80, we need around 112 out of the roughly 168 Evonodes to upgrade and be properly configured for Genesis block to be mined.

Quantum computers breaking Bitcoin or Dash is just FUD at this point, we are at least 5-10 years away from that happening. By then Dash will use quantum secure cryptography. Also right now Dash privacy is effectively quantum secure, which is not the case for Monero and Zcash.
