This photo from the big trip still gives me a smile. In part because in the 18 months we were in North America we only stayed in a motel twice. We liked to look at them at least - living history. What they advertise now is a bit different! #motorcycles

One of my strongest memories from riding through Pakistan - the trucks. It was a bit like watching two amazingly decorated, upside down Grandfather clock pendulums as they ground their way through the potholes. I was a 'bit' faster🙂

This ones a favourite. Fuzzy as anything as it was taken on film, from a mini tripod in the baking heat! I'd not taken heat shimmer from the road into account!

Fuzzy it may be but Death Valley remains a really good memory from the big trip.
