New preprint from the lab! Amazing student Madeleine Marlar-Pavey stumbled onto a very weird population of mitochondria in filopodia with a role in migration. They have very high levels of MICOS and myosin MYO19 at their tips that make them look like meteors! biorxiv.org/content/10.110…
