I'm a bit taken aback that the day the Supreme Court find people sent to Rwanda would face a risk of being murdered and tortured (based on evidence the government did not contest), the UK Prime Minister sets out an expensive plan to send people anyway.

Read for yourself the evidence upon which the Supreme Court judgment was based. "In 2021, the UK government criticised Rwanda for “extrajudicial killings, deaths in custody, enforced disappearances and torture”" Yes, that's the same UK government that now says Rwanda is "safe".

Legislation cannot change a fact. Rwanda is not safe.

This is just not true. Our borders are secure but wave after wave of humanitarian disasters and the fall out of failed Regimes etc means there will always be people looking for refuge. We need to work with this instead of trying to fight it.
