Update from ASCENT Network Atlanta South DeKalb measurement station by Professor Ng's Research Group at Georgia Tech: chlorine-containing particles started to increase last night at 10pm, it’s about 9x higher than typical conditions at 8am this morning.

Bromine-containing particles followed a similar trend, it’s about 2x higher than typical conditions at 8am. The level of organic particles also followed a similar trend. Overall PM2.5 level is still within EPA 24-hour standard.
