Thank you Neville Barnard for showing me around your wonderful school. I loved seeing the great learning going on in classrooms, particularly Tilly’s mathematical expertise and her use of this to impress her classmates (and me!) with her ‘magic’ trick!

Funding was announced in the 2017 state budget for research and seed funding to support principal health and well-being. TPA research into this important area informed the Principal Well-being Action Plan released earlier this year. It is exciting to see the progress being made.

It’s National Volunteers Week. The theme “making a world of difference” describes what our volunteers in our schools do. For every parent/grandparent help, canteen volunteer, library book coverer, sausage cook, and all the roles you do, thank you! You make our schools better!

Thank you Lisa Wright for showing me around your school. I loved seeing the great learning environments, both inside and outside. I also loved speaking with some of your students and staff, who were all great ambassadors of the wonderful teaching and learning going on.

Thank you Colin Pearson for a great visit to your wonderful school. The little bit of drizzle didn’t deter students from enjoying their playtime! It was inspiring hearing about the achievements being made by you and your staff in supporting your students and their learning.
