Today is Pentecost. Pentecost marks the end of the Easter season, 50 days after we celebrated Christ being raised from the dead on Easter Day.

In the blink of an eye, our well-fed peregrine chicks have jumped in size!🐤

The first photo here shows the peregrines on 1 May and the second photo shows the chicks yesterday, on 15 May!

Here at the Cathedral, we are surrounded by light, from the daylight that pours in through our stained-glass windows to the Spring sunlight shining in our beautiful grounds.

The Chapter House at Salisbury Cathedral is visited by people from all over the world🌍Home to one of only four surviving 1215 Magna Carta documents, visitors can experience being in this incredible space and see Magna Carta up close📜.

Salisbury Cathedral has over 200 volunteer guides who welcome visitors to the Cathedral. Our wonderful guides can answer questions and help visitors get the most out of their visit

The aurora was still visible above the city lights of #Salisbury Salisbury Cathedral

On Friday night we witnessed a once-in-a-lifetime event as an #aurora , also known as the #NorthernLights , appeared over the Cathedral!
