Pressblech fitting of a wooden cup from a male grave, late 6th century CE, found at Tauberbischofsheim in central/southern Germany. The figure is interpreted as Loki, bound in fetters. The top part might show Loki's wife combing his hair for him. #GermanicHeritage

The outfit of a Migration Period nobleman from western Scandinavia, 500AD, by Magnus Hansen. He’s wearing the famous Snartemo band as it was found and would have originally been worn, as a sword baldric.

A stunning Anglo Saxon “axe-shaped” mount, 5-7th Century. The design consists of two birds, back to back. And, when you look at it head on, you can make out a bearded face at one end, with a prominent brow and moustache. Likely an image of Woden. ᚩ
