RSF, RAC Foundation and DfT have been awarded a Prince Michael International Road Safety Award for the outstanding achievement of the Safer Roads Fund. We celebrate this achievement with the 30 local authorities that developed and implemented life saving schemes.

Great that any use of a hand-held mobile phone will become illegal next year. In the meantime remember using a hand held mobile while driving makes your reactions slower and stopping distances longer than drink driving and that hands-free is almost as dangerous.
