Tomorrow is the anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing. In our collection at the Museum of Printing is the plate cylinder from the front page of the New York Times for the following day (July 21, 1969). The headline reads: “Men Walk on Moon.”

When the printing press is human powered, no outage can stop us…except for when we run out of ink.
