Over the three SMUD Giving Fridays at this year's Cal Expo & CA State Fair, our community came together in a BIG way, donating 35,501 total pounds of food. Thanks to your generosity, we'll be able to provide more than 28,500 meals for families facing hunger in Sacramento County!

Another CalFresh Outreach video incoming... Yesterday, we teamed up with No Kid Hungry and Mercy Housing to film a new story highlighting the impact of this powerful anti-hunger program. A huge thank you to the amazing family who shared their experience and their home with us!

Behind every meal distributed is a team committed to showing up for our community & one another. Today, we came together at our quarterly All-Staff Meeting to connect, learn, celebrate and ground ourselves in our shared mission. We're grateful for this incredible group. 💙💛
