Fatal Structure Fire: 3600 block of Rio Loma Way Crews arrived to heavy fire from the 1st and 2nd floors of a house. The fire fight was challenging due to the amount of fire throughout the structure. A victim was located who did not survive. The cause is under investigation.

Apartment Fire 200 block of Bicentennial Cir. Crews arrived to heavy fire from 2 upstairs units. A total of 6 units were affected with fire, smoke and water damage. A body was also found but completely unrelated to the fire. The cause was an accidental kitchen fire.

Commercial Structure: 1000 block of 19th St. Crews arrived to heavy smoke and fire conditions at a boarded up office building. Upon the secondary search, two victims and a small dog were located deceased in an office space. The cause is under investigation.

Structure Fire: 7000 block of Flintwood Way Crews arrived to smoke coming from the attic area and one person still inside. Heavy fire was found in the attic and quickly knocked down. The occupants were able to escape without injury. The cause is under investigation.

Commercial Structure: Crews arrived to an auto shop with flames through the roof. An aggressive attack was made confining this fire to a few units saving the rest of the building. No injuries reported and the cause is under investigation.

Structure Fire: 7900 block of Amador Ave Crews arrived to heavy fire from a house, vehicles and pallets. A 2nd alarm was started due to the potential of the fire. A quick knockdown saved multiple properties. No injuries and the cause is under investigation.

Structure Fire: 7900 block of Golden Field Way Crews arrived to heavy smoke from a 2 story house. There were 2 occupants that escaped without injury but a cat was still inside. After knockdown of the fire, the cat was rescued. Unknown on the cause at this point.

Structure Fire: 6600 block of Carnation Ave Crews arrived to a garage door blown off by an explosion with smoke and fire extending into the house. Two people with injuries, one of them transported. Unknown on why the explosion occurred. The cause is under investigation.

Structure Fire: Malone Ct. Crews arrived to smoke and fire showing from a 1 story house. The fire quickly started to extend into the house next door. Crews were able to knock down the fire with minor extension. The 3 people inside got out safely. Cause is under investigation.

Vehicle into House: Quasar Cir/Loma Verde Way Crews arrived to a vehicle into the garage of the house. No injuries reported as the vehicle had fled upon arrival of crews.

Structure Fire: 1900 block of 63rd Ave Crews arrived to heavy smoke in a backyard as well as from the roof. They located an exterior fire that made its way to the attic. Crews made a knockdown on the fire and everyone got out safely. Unknown on the cause.

Hazardous Materials Response: 6100 block of Stockton Blvd. Crews arrived to an electric vehicle on fire at a wrecking yard. The vehicle had been sitting on the lot for weeks, untouched. Due to batteries being involved, a Hazmat Team responded.

Grass Fire: N Bend Dr. & Natomas Blvd. Crews arrived to a fast moving grass fire in light fuels with heavy winds spreading it to a 1/2 acre. No injuries and unknown on the cause. A turtle watched on as crews worked to extinguish the flames.

Hazmat: L St. & 19th St. Crews arrived to find two containers emitting gas in the street. A Hazmat Team was called out to identify the products. They were determined to be chlorine and acid that fell off of a trailer. The scene is being cleaned up at this time.

Grass and Vehicle Fires: Crews arrived to a fast moving grass fire in tall vegetation threatening a church and apartments. The fire spread to 11 nearby vehicles but was stopped before damaging the structures. The cause is under investigation.
