The storm has beaten up a lot of trees in our area. SacDOT received calls for 145 downed trees. Our removal crews have been working since yesterday to clear them from the roads and sidewalks. See down trees, call 311.

SacDOT will receive $564,864 in grant funds for a feasibility study to expand the Sacramento Northern Bike Trail. The bike trail ends just a mile and a half short of reaching the Placer County boarder. The study is expected to start its feasibility study in September.

Pavement repair and resurfacing work on Watt Ave near Fair Oaks Blvd will begin tonight starting from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Asphalt grinding, paving, & other associated work will run September 9 thru 12, 15 thru 19, and 23 & 24. Please watch for crews if driving in the area.
