Come find me to chat about my engineered models of cancer metastasis in the context of macrophage immunotherapies for ovarian cancer (Rapid Fire, Poster 48) and colorectal cancer dormancy (Poster 45). Looking forward to a great meeting!

It took a village to tackle a foundational question: how can we see what’s happening deep inside dECM scaffolds? Proud of the collaboration that developed this pipeline, which we hope will increase the utility of dECM scaffolds and open up new possibilities for many applications!

I made it! I’m proud to have earned my PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Texas A&M-though I certainly didn’t do it alone. Excited to continue pursuing research that makes a difference as a postdoc with Dr. Paul Sondel at UW–Madison working on translational cancer immunotherapy.
