Congratulations to Dr Cuifeng Ying Cuifeng Ying, from Advanced Optics & Photonics Lab for being awarded the best oral presentation prize during Single-Molecule Sensors and NanoSystems International Conference (S3IC 2023). Well done! NTU Department of Engineering NTUScienceTechnology

Xmass dinner with the AOP group Advanced Optics & Photonics Lab, a dream group. It is a great pleasure to work with such hand-picked people, not only wonderful scientists but also super-nice human beings. Also, a warm welcome to new members: Mohammad Momtazpour Mohammad_AOP, and Amin Zamani amin zamani.

Arman Yousefi (@Arman_AOP) just presented a fantastic seminar NTU Department of Engineering. Arman is the first PhD student in the Advanced Optics & Photonics Lab. He significantly helped us develop the labs and run wonderful research. Many thanks to Arman and Cuifeng @Cuifeg_AOP for her fantastic supervision and guidance.

Congratulations to Cuifeng Ying Cuifeng Ying (from NTU Department of Engineering and Advanced Optics & Photonics Lab) and Gaurav Sapra Gaurav Sapra (from Panjab University Panjab University, Chandigarh), for securing the prestigious UK-India UKIERI funding. Looking forward to fostering NTU-PU collaborations. NTU Department of Engineering NTUScienceTechnology

Time to update: The AOP group has grown by handpicked scientists. The smile on every face is natural, and the friendship in the group could not be better. This is the atmosphere in which the innovation can thrive. Stay tuned :-) Advanced Optics & Photonics Lab

200 years ago, George Green (1793–1841, Nottingham) invented Green's functions. Today,we cannot imagine optics and many other physical sciences without Green's functions. Here, we nonlinearly regenerated the image of Green's Windmill via frequency mixing. Advanced Optics & Photonics Lab NTU Research

Congratulations to Mr Saaman Zargarbashi Saaman from Advanced Optics & Photonics Lab, NTU Department of Engineering for receiving the 1st presentation award on his panel at NTUScienceTechnology Annual Research (STAR) conference for PhD students. Saaman is a 2nd year PhD student funded by Nottingham BBSRC DTP Nottingham BBSRC DTP.

Many thanks again to my wonderful supervisors Cuifeng Ying Lei Xu, Dr Chris Mellor and Mohsen Rahmani, as well as the rest of Advanced Optics & Photonics Lab for their support to help make this possible😁.
