The VRU, Barnsley Council and South Yorkshire Police worked with Barnsley Football Club recently to raise awareness amongst young people around the dangers of knife crime, following the launch of SYP's Knives Take Lives campaign.

Young people aged 12-14 learnt about first aid and the lasting impact of knife injuries on the body today via a Your Stance emergency first aid session at Chaucer School. The Your Stance session is funded by the VRU as part of the Children’s Hospital Youth Navigator programme
