#SYStars delivered cycle skills sessions today at Oughtibridge Primary; pupils practised their steering, braking, balance & had fun doing an obstacle course & the slowest bike race 🚲 We hope this helps more pupils to cycle to school, stay active & lead to cleaner air & safer streets

Last Friday STARS School Engagement Coordinator Zoe ran a bike session for foundation age pupils at Bankwood Community Primary School - they had great fun w/ games, practicing their balance & steering... & learning to ride at a young age can develop other motor skills like handwriting earlier!

Last week our School Engagement Coordinator Zoe ran an #ActiveTravel lesson at #BradwayPrimarySchool Pupils enjoyed discussions on the benefits of #ActiveTravel & made pledges about what they would do to travel to school actively more often 👍🏼

The Nature Group at #AnnsGrovePrimary added some new plants to their planters. They did this whilst wearing hats donated by the #TotleyRiseMethodistChurch Knit & Natter, Craft & Chatter Group, and end up turning a dull day into a colourful one!

Pupils at #PipworthCommunityPrimary did an #ActiveTravel Inspection to assess the suitability of their school environment for active travel, looking at cycle/scooter parking, suitable places to cross the road, green spaces to enjoy and where there were barriers to active travel
