🤝 Rosy and Matt McDonald, who became Head of Policy and Public Affairs in April 2023, form our Senior Management Team and will work alongside newly appointed CEO Jamie Dunlop

Massively proud of Team Scotland for being such brilliant ambassadors for SYP at #UKYP23 this weekend, for representing your constituents so passionately, for supporting each other, for hysterical laughter, for being open to difference, and for being superstars ✨️

Team SYP has travelled from every corner of Scotland to get to Orkney for #SYP79 this weekend - hopefully now all tucked up in their beds for a good night's sleep ahead of a busy two days.

📰 News from the Scottish Youth Parliament

Our Chief Executive, Ben McKendrick, has announced his intention to stand down in June 2023, to take up a clerking role in the Scottish Parliament.

The @officialsyp #SYPTheRightWay project team had a fantastic trip to National Library of Scotland this morning- huge thank you to Sarah for showing us around and letting us look at some of the books & papers in the collection. We loved reading the SYP info pack from 2004!

⛴️ Yesterday MSYPs from SYP's Transport and Rural Affairs Committee (@SYPTERA) met with decision makers from the Net Zero, Energy and Transport Committee Committee to talk about young people’s experiences of ferries - thanks to all of the MSPs that joined us!
