A woman from Pershore has been granted a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) following a series of thefts from shops in the town.

Earlier this morning, police executed a warrant at land in Cleeve Prior, near Evesham.

The warrant is being carried out under the Firearms Act 1968 and police are likely to remain on scene for some time while searches are carried out.

A Worcester man was given a seven-and-a-half-year sentence for possession with intent to supply drugs and weapons offences.

Peter Want, 46, of St Paul’s Street, Worcester, was sentenced to the term following an earlier guilty plea.

An officer’s ‘lifesaving’ actions have been praised in a case where a man was given three years for GBH following a serious assault in the city centre.

Brennan Kilner, 26, of Mersey Road, Worcester, pled guilty to GBH on Friday.

Officers are at Blackpole retail park in Worcester after a man was found dead in a car.

Initial enquiries would suggest the death is not thought to be suspicious and there is no third-party involvement.

A cordon is currently in place whilst police deal with the incident.
