From 20th-28th Nov, SWDC, in partnership with Canada in Kenya, Somalia and Uganda, conducted a 2-day training for 10 participants & a 6-day mapping exercise to identify safe and accessible protection mechanisms and strengthen GBV referral pathways for women & girls, including those living in IDP camps.

SWDC, in partnership with Canada in Kenya, Somalia and Uganda, conducted a 3-day case management training from Dec 24-26th. The training equipped 30 caseworkers & data managers from various service providers in Banadir with the skills to effectively manage cases & utilize the Primero GBVIMS+ system.

Since July 2025, SWDC in partnership with UNICEF Somalia has been implementing MHPSS sessions through the I Support My Friends program at the SWDC service points, equipping adolescent peers with Psychological First Aid (PFA) knowledge to support their friends in distress.
