Strathclyde 4x4 Response had another busy day delivering over 70 pharmacy prescriptions to elderly and shielded patients on behalf of East Renfrewshire Health & Social Care Partnership East Renfrewshire and Voluntary Action East Renfrewshire.

The requirement for 4x4 assistance is lessening as the public transport system recovers from the severe weather. We have four Responders out at present. Brian is working with East Dun HSCP, and Louise George & Carol are helping ICare to deliver 113 hot meals to vulnerable clients

Some of the members of Strathclyde 4x4 Response who were active during the recent severe weather were congratulated today by Boyd Tunnock of TunnocksOfficial who recognised the sterling work done for the community including NHS Lanarkshire , NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde , Scottish Government , East Dun HSCP .
