A piece of history sails into the future: The llaüt Rafael, over 110 years old, has been hauled out at STP Shipyard Palma to begin its restoration by traditional boatbuilders. A project that preserves Balearic maritime heritage and keeps tradition alive.

We hauled out S/Y Viento for the final adjustments ahead of the Ibiza JoySail. Fine-tuning, technical checks and last details to ensure she competes at the highest level. All that’s left is to follow this remarkable yacht throughout the regatta and enjoy her performance at sea.

The SY Aquarius, a 56-metre Royal Huisman, was recently lifted by the 1,000-ton travelift at STP. It is one of the largest yachts ever hauled out to date, with an overhang of around 23 metres from the aft wheels of the crane to the stern, making the manoeuvre particularly complex
