Whilst some children have been in school many others have been at home. Through the St. John's Teams Classroom, and their online class notebooks, they have shown they have produced some fantastic learning. We are very proud of you all!

Last week we had a winner! One of our pupils Chloe won a "design a logo" competition - well done Chloe. In the picture she is with Jonathan Broom-Edwards who is a British para-sport athlete.

This week is Anti-Bullying week and here at St. John's Primary Academy we have teamed up with Anti-Bullying Alliance #AntiBullyingWeek to learn more about how we can all play our role in stopping bullying in all it's forms. We are even wearing odd socks to help us!! #OddSocksDay

It is #OddSocksDay here at St. John's Primary Academy The children are helping raise awareness of bullying and learning all the ways we can help to stop bullying from happening!

All this week the children St. John's Primary Academy have been taking part in Anti-Bullying Week with Anti-Bullying Alliance #AntiBullyingWeek. The children have designed posters to go up around school to help us all know how to stop bullying and what to do if we see it happening. We think they are great!

St. John's is very grateful to all the members of the community who have donated laptops and tablets to the school. We have reconfigured many of these and they are now supporting the children at St. John's with their online learning. #BBCRadioLincolnshire

Here at St. John's things are a little different with only Key Worker and Vulnerable children now present. However even though we have been doing lots of learning there is always time to build a snowman!!

On Friday it was St. George's Day and also William Shakespeare's birthday! Across St. John's we learnt about his life, discovered facts and looked at some of his fantastic plays! Our children were thrilled to learn that Shakespeare created the phrase 'Knock-knock'.

On Friday Year 6 had a safety awareness session on gaming led by our colleagues at Lincolnshire County Council. Gaming can be great fun but the children now also know how to be safe and how to regulate the effect that gaming can have on themselves and their relationships!

Over the summer holidays Lincolnshire Libraries are running a summer reading event. This is a marvellous opportunity for children enjoy reading and keep their skills sharp. Find out more information here. summerreadingchallenge.org.uk

Today we had some Coop (Co-op ) volunteers in school to refurbish some of our outside equipment. Teepees cleaned, huts painted, signs washed, sheds painted and trim trail cleaned and painted with wood stain to protect it. WOW thank you so much: Jac, Kathryn, Kelly and Adam!
