The annual @stepupmpls mock interviews are underway this week, with real-life job interview experiences for 700+ Mpls youth in preparation for summer internships. Thanks to 200 dedicated volunteers for providing feedback and encouragement on interview and presentation skills!

Meet the Team series! Meet Yakasah, Step Up Level 2 Director. Why Step Up? "Step up is important for Minneapolis because it provides youth the tools they need to become self-sufficient and positive contributors to their families and the broader Minneapolis community."

Interns are getting ready to start their Step Up internships! About 1,000 Minneapolis youth are participating in the Step Up program this summer. As well as 100 Minneapolis companies who are eager for their interns to start June 20!

1,166 youth received paid internship opportunities in 2022 through Step Up. Internships for summer 2023 start next week!

And they are off!! Step Up launched for 1,298 young people last week! They are ready for their paid internships and online career exploration. Enjoy your summer experience!
