On December 11th, the STC NY Metro chapter hosted a holiday network event. In the words of an attendee, “At last night’s STC NY Metro Holiday networking event, I met passionate tech comm professionals in fintech, life sciences, IT, and education. What a warm welcome!"

On Saturday, Jan 5th, members of the STC NY METRO chapter attended the Linguistic Society of America conference in NY City. There was a "mixer" in which career linguists met with students studying linguistics. It was a lively session, and many expressed an interest in the STC.
