NEW INFORMATION: There's more to the DC911/Office of Unified Communications story than a seriously wounded Gary "Zeek" Dzekian's report that he disconnected after waiting three minutes for 911 to pick up. There was complete chaos and confusion, as heard on the radio and information from numerous sources:
UPDATE: Very interesting. US Attorney Pirro's media advisory that said, "USA Pirro will also be discussing DC 911/Office of Unified Communications" was much ado about nothing. OUC/DC911 was not mentioned in Pirro's opening remarks. It only came up in answer to a reporter's question
