Establishing a mechanism for the #missing persons is the first step towards providing families in #Syria with the answers they have been waiting for too long. For families of the missing, time does not heal; answers do.

📍 Aleppo 🚨 3.2 million people get water from Babiri Pumping Station, which also irrigates 65,000 hectares of land in Aleppo Governorate. The ICRC, Syrian Red Crescent & local authorities urgently repaired a key transformer in this station to keep this vital system running.

We are heartbroken by the death of two of our dear colleagues, Ibrahim Eid and Ahmad Abu Hilal. The ICRC reiterates its urgent call for the respect and protection of civilians in Gaza.
