Just to let everyone know, Quick Quack carwash reversed these stats. Which honestly makes this loss worse, but I did want to point it out.

“We have struggled at that distance” 1 for 6 from 40+. Kyle Whittingham’s decision to not let Dillon Curtis kick on the 4th and 7 was based on stats this season, and the analytics were almost 50/50.

Whittingha’s response when asked about Dampier being hobbled and Ficklin possibly getting the start: “If we end up going that route based on health, we have the confidence in him to get it done”

Although Utah lost on Saturday, there are a couple things to keep in mind: -The 2 hardest games on the schedule are done. There is a good chance the Utes win out. -Freshmen showed out. Daniel Bray is extremely talented, with both JJ Buchanan and Byrd Ficklin also showing flashes

The unfortunate reality. Utah is better analytically than most teams in the country. Analytics unfortunately don’t win football games.
