I am beyond thrilled to announce that I will be joining the Biology Department at Stanford University as Assistant Professor! The Barone lab will be based at Hopkins Marine Station Stanford University station and will open doors on March 1st, 2024. So there is still some time, but stay tuned: Cell-Evo-Devo is coming!

With sorrow, we (StanfordMCP Stanford SBiophysics) share news that our friend & colleague, Bill Weis, passed away Oct 13,2023. Among many other reasons, he is missed for his discoveries, mentoring, and for the gift of his incisive intellect, wry wit, & kindness. RIP.

This is heart breaking news… Bill was an astonishing mentor, colleague, and collaborator. I was lucky to learn from him as a graduate student.
