Let’s not let this billionaire lady strip mine our Rockies: “…as sophisticated & intellectually consistent as you might hear at a public bar…Rinehart disdains the constraints of arithmetic, simultaneously demanding lower taxes, more public spending & lower deficits…”

Can Albertans access the full range of reproductive health care services in a Covenant health facility? If the answer is no, it’s not “universally accessible.” Alberta women deserve the answer in legislation. We can’t take the UCP’s word for it.

Join the Labour Day BBQ at Galt Gardens tomorrow! Education support workers deserve to be able to make a living from holding down one job. That’s not currently the case. They need better pay, full-stop. No excuses. Support the folks in our community who support our kids.

You see all these Israelis? I'd venture to say that almost all believe Hamas committed unspeakable evil on 10/7, is a terrorist menace, deserves to be eliminated as a security or political factor...AND that Netanyahu's policies have been a disaster, he has failed the hostages, he

Saskatchewan NDP not messing around with their pre-election positioning. I love to see it. Carla is tough, she’s committed, she’s ready to take on the tired, unfocused SK Party. Saskatchewan New Democrats has a team that’s ready to fix health care and build an economy that works for everyone.

This far-right website appears to match the DoJ’s description of a company covertly funded by Russia Canadian convoy influencer and “Counter Signal” contributor “Kat Kanada” was on chatting with Lauren Southern a month ago comparing Canada to her childhood in the USSR...

This story about Russian interference has a considerable Canadian angle. Pretty explosive stuff. Might merit a headline…or something

According to the documents obtained by The Narwhal, Lethbridge East UCP MLA Nathan Neudorf pressured the electricity system operator to *lie* to the public about his ban on clean energy business. Let’s not elect a party so quick to lie to the public, Lethbridge.

From the article: “Staff at Alberta’s independent grid operator were concerned the provincial government wanted them to “lie” about the organization’s role in the decision to pause all new renewable energy projects last summer…”

There are real consequences to the UCP’s decision to kill the Green Line. Homes and land purchased, buildings torn down, infrastructure cleared, lands prepared, utilities moved… Real people, real jobs, real costs. Gone because somewhere in the last month, the UCP broke

It’s hard to believe that threatening Jewish institutions in Canada is an effective way to protest a war in the Middle East. Because it’s not – but it is a blatant display of antisemitism.

Absolutely unnecessary govt interference in AB’s power market. I know I don’t sound like a doctrinaire NDPer when I say that, but if the goal is affordable power, that means no or low/no-carbon. It can be delivered in AB’s market structure with thoughtful govt incentive.
