Today was a day of ups and downs for our team. Lost our first game of the day 15-2 vs Lobos FC then got our first win ever 7-2 against Barron Soccer team. Great result especially with 90° temps. Let’s keep going for our next two vs Poskin Jets Football Club.

Spartan Football Club respects and supports the decision made by WPASL and it’s disciplinary committee. It sets a clear and hard precedent that violence of any nature will never be tolerated in the game of soccer.

I could not be more proud of my team last night. They knew it would be a very defensive game on their part and held strong.

In the lower half we see #11 Great White Buffalo , who rallied late against #6 Christos FC, take on #3 Spartan Football Club , who easily dispatched #14 Des Moines Menace

Tough loss to the WPASL newcomers Union Eau Claire FC. We had a few chances but couldn’t convert.

Our game vs @WolfpackHayward will be ruled a forfeit as we do not have enough players available. We look forward to our next game June 5th against Lobos FC.

Game today against Lobos FC has been rescheduled to July 30th at 3. We now have a friendly at 3 today at Sparta High School.

Tough game today. Lost our goalie at the 45’ to a broken nose then conceded a goal right before the halftime whistle. Brought it back level at the 82’ then conceded again at the 88’ to lose 2–1. It was a great effort but not enough to get a result.
