A full day of PD and mentorship with my USask Education TC Jasmeen and my new Montgomery Elementary School school teaching partner, Davis Bone! Working with new teachers is one of my greatest joys. Saskatoon Public Schools

Loan number 517 out of 517!!!!! What an incredible year of #STEMeducation for the Saskatoon Public Schools SPSD interSTELLAR Program program. 180 plus classrooms and more than 6000 students reached this year. Thank you to everyone who has supported my work this school year. Time for a rest!

2024/2025 booking calendars are going live shortly for Saskatoon Public Schools classrooms. Grade 4 to 8 teachers keep an eye out for a booking email in the next day or so.

35 minutes after posting the booking link and 38 teachers have already posted. The second graphic is the school sign up. Each wedge is a different Saskatoon Public Schools school.

This pie chart shows school selection stats in the first 7 hours of SPSD interSTELLAR Program loaner booking. It's so beautiful!

Montgomery Place Community Association president. and long time resident, Barbara Biddle, led our staff on a walking tour of the historic neighborhood this afternoon. Happy school start everyone! Saskatoon Public Schools

I had a great time leading #STEMEducation learning for Saskatoon Public Schools and Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools teachers at the STA annual convention. The 70 attendees nailed the cardboard challenge "Make something that moves." #STA2024

22 hours and the first 420 loans are booked and confirmed for the Saskatoon Public Schools SPSD interSTELLAR Program program. Last year, at this time I had 357, the year before was 129. Probably another 20 waiting in my inbox. Another amazing year is ready for takeoff!!!

You're looking at 1800 SPSD interSTELLAR Program loans in the back of this truck. On average one project requires 1.8 meters of cutting via laser and saw. That's 3240 meters total for this load. That's almost exactly 2 miles of cuts between this and finished work. Roll up the sleeves!

< 2 weeks out from the Second Annual Spooky Science event hosted through SPSD interSTELLAR Program. Our 75 host teachers will provide demonstrations to nearly 5000 students in Saskatoon Public Schools. Huge thanks to our sponsor Graham Construction.

My #STEM sister and Montgomery Elementary School colleague Ms. Thivierge was an amazing help with #spsspooky Dry Ice Demonstrator Day prep this afternoon. We prepped more than 150 backpacks. Thanks to Graham Construction for their sponsorship. Saskatoon Public Schools SPSD interSTELLAR Program

How do you haul 1200 kg (2.5 tons) of dry ice? It's pretty great to have a new UHaul location just down the road. Saskatchewan's largest, single day science event in T - 2 Days. #spsspooky Saskatoon Public Schools SPSD interSTELLAR Program

Somewhere amongst these five bins is our 1000th SPSD interSTELLAR Program loan since February 2021! It's been a busy Fall but we've been hard at it sharing low cost, highly engaging #STEMEducation resources to Saskatoon Public Schools
