Last night during cruise night a few drivers took it too far. When SPS Air Support Unit spotted the activity & we took enforcement action our officers were swarmed and assaulted. Everyone is ok but it was touch and go for a bit.

Yesterday SPS Air Support Unit responded to the Tobin Lake area to support our RCMP partners. We located 2 suspects and helped keep everyone safe while taking them into custody. The view on the way home was good but watching the RCMP take two into custody was better.

Last night we couldn’t fly due to a bad blizzard. So we grabbed a Patrol car and hit the road. A driver fled from Saskatoon Police Patrol, then ran on foot. SPS Air Support Unit & SPS K9 Unit teamed up and conducted a ground track. One in custody! We are committed to public safety.
