HUGE shout out during #TeacherAppreciationWeek2019 to all of the teachers in Saint Paul Public Schools who are helping students find a book that sparks their interests, a book that helps them become a writer, a book that helps them see themselves in heroes (literary, super, sports). THANK YOU!

11-12 teachers and students get this incredible set of books: nonfiction, fiction, graphic novels, a great diverse array of authors and protagonists. Students will continue to have their reading lives ignited.

St. Paul Public Library has 7 part-time cultural liaisons and is looking to expand program. Hindi Abdi volunteered as tutor while at St. Kate’s. For families “it just shifted the environment. We’re able to be on the front lines, introduce ourselves and help them right away.”
