Why in any responses and proposals form the Department of Health so far has there been little to no mention for Intern student nurses and midwives? WE ARE STILL LEARNING AS INTERNS! On top of the staff nurse workload we have learning objectives and skills to complete also

Interns remain on the frontline and little under or over the minimum wage. Working through the same if not worse conditions as the students and interns in March yet no HCA pay for us? #HCApayforinterns

Is it just me or does the fact that those two weeks don’t have to repaid doesn’t necessarily justify the cancellation. Students are missing out on specialist placements they won’t get again. Student nurses want support not a day off

I looked at my Feb roster online for ED dept. , my title on it is “Intern RN/HCA” and the students 1-3 are “supernumary”... so since I’m apparently also a HCA, do I get paid as one ?

The government need to cut out the cheap words, and the patronising clapping and pay Student Nurses for the phenomenal work they are doing on the front lines. Now.

Bad enough having to wait every fortnight for pay but my first pay was messed up by revenue, second was messed up by payroll department ..have to wait 2wks again for my full proper pay, it’s a good think student nurses/MWs don’t need the money ..😡

Last day in ICU today, got a small little surprise party for evening tea as-well as a small hamper of goodies, one of the most pressurised, stressful wards in the hospital yet the kindest most supportive staff💓 it’s the little things .. straight into ED tomorrow..3rd long day 😣

I signed a waiver form to gift all pay increases paid to TD’s from 1st April 2017 to the end of this year back to the taxpayer. The amount returned is €10,203,70. TD’s get paid enough. Pay increases for TD’s while Student Nurses & Midwives are still waiting to be paid is unjust!

One thing I’ve definitely noticed since the student nurse and midwives pay campaign is how wards are much more prioritising supernumerary statuses and learning objectives
