Well done to all for completing their STCW with Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service Phoenix Services. A busy couple of days learning the basics of fire at sea, working alongside the Phoenix instructors and Training department.#topteam


Today is the last day for the Fire Service ambulance drivers, who attended 804 incidents alongside South Western Ambulance Service crew members. We averaged around 50 calls per week to emergency situations. We are incredibly proud of what they have achieved and the fantastic feedback from South Western Ambulance Service

Last night Tolvaddon Community Fire Station #OnCall #Drills we went back to basics with #Extrication going through the team approach stages & the multitude of equipment on our specialist Rescue Tender. Also worked on our fine motor skills with tools ๐. start 3 weeks of RTC including trauma care

Itโs the second day of training for our Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service volunteers who are going to be working alongside South Western Ambulance Service. During the next few months they will be joining the team of a further 15 0n-call Firefighters who, since April have been supporting paramedics in #Cornwall.


Training all completed. Thank you Mel,Sian,Ash and Mark from South Western Ambulance Service providing the skills to the team from Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service who thoroughly enjoyed to opportunity to learn from you all and are ready to assist in this fantastic partnership.
