S. Neuhoff with an epic come from behind win to advance to the finals at the SPC Championships!

After the SPC semifinals, the Lions have 6 wrestlers in the finals: Perkison (106), Metcalf (138), Kim (145), Abbasi (152), El. Ellis (195), & Neuhoff (220). In the 3rd place matches are: Fleiss (113), Martinez (120), Kiehn (126), Ball (132), & Loehr (160).

In the 3rd place round, W. Loehr (160) wins by pin, while T. Fleiss (113), P. Martinez (120), S.Kiehn (126), and AJ Ball (132) all get 4th place in the SPC Championships. Championship round results to follow.

In the SPC Championships 1st place round, Q. Perkison (106) wins by pin, Metcalf (138) wins by tech fall, Kim (145) wins by pin, Abbasi (152) wins by pin, and El. Ellis (195) wins by pin. The team takes 3rd place in the SPC!

J. Kim, E. Ellis, and H. Metcalf all claimed their 2nd Individual State Championship today at the Texas Prep State Tournament at St. Thomas in Houston. Each has qualified for the Prep National Tournament next weekend in Washington DC. Q. Perkison also qualified, finishing 3rd.

Lion Grapplers finish season at Prep Nationals. Our Lion Wrestlers have made us proud through their Grit-Hard Work-Determination-Belief. Go Lions!!!

SM Wrestling Clinic. Next one is 11-14 July for 1st-8th Grades.

St. Mark’s wrestling opens the season. Day 2 of the Panther Invite at Hillcrest HS begins with 5 Lions in the consolations and 4 Lions in the semi-finals rounds. Go Lions!!!

3x 3rd place finishers (Q. Perkison, T. Fleiss, and W. Loehr), 1x silver medalist (S. Neuhoff), and 1x Champion (H. Metcalf) as the Lions place 6th out of 16 teams at the Hillcrest HS Panther Invitational.

St. Mark's Wrestling heading into the Prep State Tourney at McKinney Christian Academy need to congratulate two of our Middle School State finalists from last weekend. O. Loehr earned a state title with a pin in the finals and F. Gottlich won the silver medal in an OT battle. Go Lions!

Three state champs (Q. Perkison, B. Bacon, & W. Loehr), one runner up (H. Metcalf), and a bronze (J. Barnes). Five Lions qualified for Prep Nationals. A team fifth place. SPC on Saturday. Go Lions!!!
