Many thanks to all who attended last night’s Pint of Science IE Festival in Dundalk. Great to meet young Dublin City University & Trinity College Dublin scientists Aoife Fitzpatrick & Kate Connor. Plenty of audience participation to show how 4 BK channel subunits 🍺 form a pore & are altered by LINGO1.

Thank you to Prof. Paolo Tammaro at University of Oxford for the kind invitation to Oxford to share our latest work from DkIT Smooth Muscle Research Centre on interstitial cells in the urinary tract.

Really enjoyed the chats about science, teaching and good red wine.
