Some man for one man! Fiachna McAleenan qualified for the All-Ireland cross country today, & hours later went to Downpatrick for a Corn Colmcille game and played a stormer! Fantastic dedication and commitment to our school extra curricular teams!

Our U14 Girls played their first match of the year today and came out the wrong side of a 5-12 to 5-10 defeat against St Ronan's Sport . Thanks to St.Patricks College for the use of their facility. Ulster Ladies Gaelic

⭐️ Year 8 Champions 🏆 Our year 8’s won the inaugural ‘St Malachy’s High School, Year 8 Football Competition’ by beating Rathmore in the final. The trophy was donated by our former Head of PE, Pj McGee and he presented it to winning captains Thomas Kane and Setanta Laverty 🇳🇬

Many thanks to past pupil and current Official Down GAA star Ceilum Doherty for attending our competition and presenting all the medals. Ceilum is pictured presenting an Ulster Schools GAA sponsored jersey to ‘Player of the Final’, Thomas Kane ⭐️

We would like wish Connaire Og McVeigh and Maisie McVeigh all the best for the Ulster Schools Track & Field Championships. Maisie will be competing tomorrow in the Hurdles having secured Silver at Down Schools. Connaire Og will be competing in 800m on Saturday!💚🤍
