The Board appointed Mr. David Chilson as Principal at Esperanza Middle School. Mr. Chilson holds a Master’s from Towson University and a Bachelor’s from the State University of New York at Brockport. Mr. Chilson currently serves as an Assistant Principal at GWCES.

Ms. Jennifer Surber has been appointed as Charter Director at Chesapeake Public Charter School. Ms. Surber holds a Master’s from the University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor’s from Old Dominion University. Ms. Surber currently serves as Academic Dean at the Charter School.

Ms. Cortney Dvorak has been appointed as Academic Dean at George Washington Carver Elementary. Ms. Dvorak holds a Master’s from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and a Bachelor’s from Towson University. Ms. Dvorak currently serves as a Supervisor of Instruction.

Mr. Christopher Dyson has been appointed as Principal, 12 month, at Ridge Elementary School. Mr. Dyson holds a Master’s from Walden University and a Bachelor’s from High Point University. Mr. Dyson currently serves as an Assistant Principal, 11 month, at Green Holly Elementary.

Ms. Kimberly Edwards has been appointed as Assistant Principal, 11 month, at Lettie Marshall Dent Elementary School. Ms. Edwards holds a Master’s and a Bachelor’s from Towson University. Ms. Edwards currently serves as the Acting Assistant Principal at Lettie Marshall Dent.

Mr. Phil Longo has been appointed as Operations Coordinator in the Department of Operations. Mr. Longo holds a Master’s from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s from Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Longo currently serves as a Facilities Manager at TOP Golf.

Ms. Monique Osborne has been appointed as Assistant Principal, 11 month, at Park Hall Elementary School. Ms. Osborne holds a Master’s from Bowie State University and a Bachelor’s from Brooklyn College. Ms. Osborne currently serves as a School Counselor at Captain W. Francis Duke.

The Board appointed Ms. Kelly Bridges as Supervisor of Instruction for English, 12 month, in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Ms. Bridges holds a Master’s from McDaniel College and a Bachelor’s from Saint Vincent College.

Ms. LaToya Fox has been appointed as Assistant Principal, 11 month, at George Washington Carver Elementary School. Ms. Fox holds a Master’s from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s from the University of South Carolina.

Dr. Wendy Zimmerman has been appointed as Acting Principal at Benjamin Banneker Elementary School. Dr. Zimmerman holds a Doctorate from the University of Maryland at College Park, a Master’s from Towson University, and a Bachelor’s from Millersville University.

Mr. Graham Coombs has been appointed as Assistant Principal, 12 month, at Leonardtown High School. Mr. Coombs holds a Master’s from McDaniel College and a Bachelor’s from Grove City College. Mr. Graham currently serves as a Mathematics Teacher, 10 month, at Leonardtown HS.
