SLTFR responded with the JPA for a 3 vehicle traffic collision today. Arrived to find no injuries however the passenger of the red vehicle refused to be treated... gotta love the Halloween season!

In one 48 hour ‘tour’, SLTFR crews can respond to a real variety of calls and experience a real variety of events. A Shift did some N95 mask fit testing, fire and EMS training, responded to vehicle accidents, fire calls, CPR calls and a variety of medical aids. #weexistforyou

South Lake Tahoe Firefighters assisted Cal Tahoe JPA with disinfecting one of their ambulances this morning after a transport. Personnel utilized a product called Decon 7 to fog the inside surfaces of the unit.

SLTFR 1st alarm with the help of TDFPD and LVFPD for a TC rollover into a tree. This was early this morning on Lake Tahoe Blvd. near San Jose Ave. The patient was extricated in critical condition and flown to Renown by calstar from the scene.

South Lake Tahoe Fire units with the assistance from Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District, Lake Valley Fire Protection District, Cal Fire and the US Forrest Service extinguished a vegetation fire near Van Sickle Bi-State park today.
