1️⃣ Drinking a TON of water but neglecting electrolytes. This will have you up all night peeing but still dealing with symptoms of dehydration! Especially if it’s hot and humid, include sports drinks (with more sodium than potassium) and salt your food🧂

2️⃣ Underestimating carbohydrate needs. Carbohydrate fuels anywhere from 50-90% of activity for most combo sports like football, soccer, and volleyball. During high workload timeframes like preseason, carbs should be close to HALF of your plate, EVERY meal! 🍞🍚🍝🥔
