We are also united by #solidarity 🤝. We experienced that last year, when Slovenia🇸🇮 suffered historic #floods . Our neighbours were among the first to come to our aid.

When they helped us build our lost bridges, they strengthened the bridges between our countries.

Slovenia🇸🇮 has been a member of the EU🇪🇺 for 20 years. The Presidents of our friendly neighbouring countries 🇦🇹🇭🇷🇭🇺🇮🇹 have come to Brdo pri Kranju to celebrate the first 20 years of our common journey in the EU and to discuss the future challenges that we can solve only together.

🇸🇮 President Pirc Musar at the 9th Delphi Forum: It is a year of the Olympic Games. In Ancient Greece, the competitions were not disturbed by wars during the Games. Each of us should not hesitate to remind the warring parties around the world of this venerable tradition.

My final thought on 9th DelphiEconomicForum: We must not allow future generations to leave behind us a huge environmental burden, a destroyed habitat and a deeply divided society. Without sustainable and equitable development, our civilization has no future.

Moja zaključna misel na 9. Delfskem gospodarskem forumu: Ne smemo dovoliti, da bi prihodnjim generacijam za nami ostalo veliko breme za okolje, uničen življenjski prostor in globoko razdeljena družba. Brez trajnostnega in pravičnega razvoja naša civilizacija nima prihodnosti.
