🚗Heads up drivers, Avila Beach Drive at U.S. 101 will be closed and a detour in effect from Aug. 18-Sept. 26. Traffic should use San Luis Bay Drive or Ontario Road as alternatives. The beach and businesses will be open through this duration so leave a little extra time.

Highway 41 will be closed during the daytime hours (6 am to 8 pm), Tuesday, August 5 to Thursday, August 7 from Hwy. 46 East to State Route 33. Detour is State Route 33 between 46 and 41. Closure allows for connecting the new 46/41 interchange to existing SR 41. Caltrans HQ

Avila Beach Drive Roundabout construction starts in 2 weeks! On Aug. 18 the Avila Beach Drive/US 101 interchange will be closed. Drivers should use San Luis Bay Drive or Ontario Road. Detour in place thru Sept. 26 Plan ahead and share with friends. Info: SloCounty.gov/AvilaRoundabout
