ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಸಮುದಾಯದ 9 ಹಾಗೂ 10ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ವೇತನ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವರದಿಗಳು ಬಂದಿವೆ‌. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ, ಈ ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಈ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸ್ಟೂಡೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಇಸ್ಲಾಮಿಕ್ ಆರ್ಗನೈಸೇಶನ್ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ (ಎಸ್‌ಐಓ) ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದೆ‌.
