Yesterday we had huge success at Marty's with our Can Drive in Dudley! TODAY you can bring your cans and bottles to our team at Ted's in Charlton until noon and $$$ will go towards the Music Programs at SH! Thank you SHMPA for running this and thank you to all who volunteered!

It felt like marching band today driving the trailer to move some pitt equipment! Tomorrow we are finally able to have our first in-person rehearsal of the year! Woo!

Tonight SH Band is back in-person 6pm-8pm working on Malaguena! We are so excited! If you didn't know, we will be working on a video performance of the high-energy piece to share with family and friends to be released sometime in December!

It has been awesome the past few weeks being back together with the marching band on Tuesday nights! Looking forward to next week!

A huge shout out to Piotr and Adam for competing in v-USBands States this past weekend with Leroy Anderson's "Bugler's Holiday" receiving an 88.5! They will be submitting a second video this coming weekend!

Thank you to SHRHS BOOSTER CLUB for the National Champion shirts! This thank you is long overdue! We received from you during spring lockdown but finally got to hand out this September when kids were finally together again! THANK YOU!

Here's a HUGE SHOUT OUT to Piotr and Adam for this past weekend. Last weekend they scored a 92.0 in virtual-USBands Small Ensemble Nationals. Bravo to those two for challenging themselves this Fall and achieving an incredible result!

Winter Percussion tonight postponed to this Thursday 6-8. Jazz Band is on. Students dismissed at 5:30.

I sent out the email this morning but in the event you did not see it... Jazz Band rescheduled to tomorrow (Thurs) 3:30-5:30 Winter Percussion was unable to be moved tomorrow, next rehearsal is next Tuesday 6:00pm-8:00pm!

Guard rehearsal this week and next week will run from 5:30-8:30.

Due to the potential hazardous weather (oppressive heat and thunderstorms), we will postpone the first Marching Band rehearsal to Thursday. I want to make sure everyone's FIRST 2021 Marching Band experience is better than dodging tstorms and sweating through masks in hot rooms.
