The Hawick Heritage project appointed Luke Batchelor as Artist in Residence for the final year of the project. Luke delivered workshops to introduce the sculpture project to the Hawick Community on May 12th. Drawing letters, spacing & transferring the design to stone.

A group of Hawick High School students, studying Art & Design, were invited along to a workshop with Heriot Watt Galashiels to explore aspects of the textile industry. These workshops signified the start of the community created textile exhibition, ‘A stitch through Time’
