March 12, 2005 Matt Belk’s driving layup capped a fourth-quarter rally as Alma Basketball🏀 shocked Mills, 73-72, for the team’s first-ever state championship at AllTel Arena (now called Simmons Bank Arena). Luke Folkers and Ryan Evans had 23 and 20 points for the state champs.

So thankful I was brought up in the time that coaches competed hard against each other while at the same time building up & inspiring not only your own kids, but showing respect to opposing coaches, programs & players as well! Sad that some do not understand this!
